Hormone Replacement Therapy

What is BHRT? (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy)

As men and women age, their bodies naturally begin to produce less hormones. This hormonal imbalance can cause a multitude of symptoms that can impede quality of life. Fortunately, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a solution that can help restore balance and improve overall health. This unique form of hormone therapy uses natural hormones that are identical to the hormones already in the body, allowing for a more efficient and effective treatment. By introducing these hormones, BHRT may alleviate symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, and a loss of sex drive.

We are happy to help both women and men with their HRT needs. Our compounding pharmacist is available for appointments and will collaborate with providers, based on your needs. Consultations are available if you are beginning HRT, or looking to alter your treatments as your symptoms and/or hormone levels change over time.

Why Choose Compounded Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Compounded hormone replacement therapy enables prescribers to personalize hormone combinations and delivery systems to match each patient's unique needs rather than a one size fits most approach.  Hormone levels, symptoms, medical history, and risk of adverse effects vary from patient to patient.  Compounding services help maximize treatment outcomes by allowing patients and prescribers to choose the correct combination of hormones and delivery system based upon patient specific factors.
